Filming: Location

When filming, where setting is concerned we decided to base it around areas in which we thought were appropriate for Jamie’s background, we found a rural area that had natural lighting from the houses and street lights that reflect her normality in comparison to Hunter’s more upper class superior status, this again creating more of a contrast when Hunter chases after Jamie in order to save their relationship as typically the roles would be reversed.

We have also chosen to shoot near where graffiti has been presented to add and reflect Jamie’s criminal, rough persona again contrasting against typical conventions of women being the inferior and less dominant gender
Alongside this, we have also incorporated setting including high metal fences around to help reflect a sense of being trapped and possibly the idea of a prisoner which could allow semiotics that foreshadow the idea that she will be imprisoned as an alternate ending.

We have also incorporated the surroundings through the use of trees, this will provide us with cover that Jamie could run through, ensuring that obstacles are being given to help her escape from the chase to prevent her being caught by Hunter adding more enigma and drama as the outcome is unexpected.
